Headamp with Balanced Input

Need recommendation for a HeadAmp with Balanced Inputs to pair with my forthcoming AKG K240S, AKG K271S or AKG K701.

 

Any recommendations are appreciated.

they are a bunch of balanced amps out there, such as Gilmore GS-X, Rudistor RPX-100, RP010B, RP7B, Ray samuels B-52, Apache, ... The cheapest (relatively speaking) being the NX-33 from Rudistor. All have balance input and output.

You can try Sound Devices HX-3. I am using it both at home and on the go.

hmmm sorry to hear that. In terms of a good and relatively cheap balanced amp I don't think there's any other than the headroom desktop.

 

You could try searching on www.head-fi.com - balanced amps are really 'the buzz' now on that forum and many designers are creating their own, but not at a good price.

Thanks for the info. I am a active member of Lowyat.net and have read all the post and unfortunately only china made amps are discussed.

One thing about buying amps that are not available in Singapore is you'll be buying blind. Having said that the Headroom amps are nice too. But it's gonna cost ya mucho dinars to get the balanced versions.
