Stratuskyo 0 Report post Posted October 4, 2007 hi guys.. looking for IEM within $150, preferably good bass and good isolation one... listen mostly to head-banging, hip-hop, dance and classicals... any good recommendations??
Stereo_Electronics 0 Report post Posted October 4, 2007 The usual choices, 1. Westone UM1 2. UE superfi 3 studio 3. Shure E2g or c 4. Beyer DTX50 5. Audio Technica ATH-CK7 I presume since you asked for "good" bass, it's not necessary a lot of bass so best for you to drop by to try to determine which has the best bass quality and isolation you need. dw1narso 0 Report post Posted October 4, 2007 what about for half of your budget but will sound very good? (I'm not kidding... and don't be fooled with the price...) --- David Might as well get the OVC T20 (Mylar 1 X3), OEM company for crossroad and best thing is it's cheaper. Durability can be quite an issue, send mine to Jaben for exchange twice due to driver problem.

slowth 0 Report post Posted October 7, 2007 or you could get a standard IEM and try to get custom molds fitted on it. inproves the bass.

shw24 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2007 hmm... KSC75 modded and recabled is hard to beat by the IEM with the same value...
loop_ 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2007 I guess well rated clip-ons could sound just as good, but they definitely won't isolate half as well as a well-inserted iem. So if you'll be using it mainly for portable use, the iem will sound much better. 150's enough for a decent iem i suspect...

KSC75 modded and recabled is hard to beat by the IEM with the same value... true true unforunately those dont isolate (leak sound in fact!) : Edited October 23, 2007 by barqy
