stargazer 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2010 (edited) The closes look alike from my HD-600 is the HD-580, is that the right model or even older than what I can remember? Looks like you're more of a vinyl player/collector I guess, is that right? Appreciate the sound of vinyl but can't bring myself into it due to dust conditions/environment ! ical 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2010 (edited) It should be older than that. My humble little old cans: Ya, most of us is into vinyl now. I've to thanks blondie (aka kidult) for his good recommendation. Most have the wrong impression that vinyl is expensive. It's actually very affordable and easy to maintain. You should listen to it with headphone. Well, most TT has dust cover so blaming on the environment is not a very good excuse. ical 0 Report post Posted June 13, 2010 (edited) It's a myth that turntable and vinyl are expensive and need high maintenance. This beauty cost less than $800 with cartridge. Does your cdp look as good as this? http://www.project-audio.com/main.php?prod...bles〈=en Edited June 13, 2010 by ical
stargazer 0 Report post Posted June 13, 2010 I wouldn't say the turntable & vinyl are expensive but certain requirement & measures need to keep in mind as dust is major killer especially my house often gets dust collected on top of my gears!
