The price is really WAY too high even for an RS1 in such a condition but I really have to say that is THE best looking true vintage RS1 that I have seen. It doesn't hurt that the box looks excellent as well.

Yutiao's PS-1 is the best phone I've heard. Will be amazing if PS1000 actually sound much better.

 

I really look forward to a comparison between HD800 and PS1000. I'll be starting from scratch again and look forward to assembling a good headphone system soon; hopefully something to end any urge to upgrade.

Not sure what's so sensitive about it as it is the MSRP. USD MSRP is $1700 + GST after conversion it is in the 2800 ballpark. Discounted price is a different matter and I agree with you that it is sensitive but don't think this is the case.
