  1. BTW. Do you guys intend to have another donation drive?
  2. That is the bare minimum for line out. Some CDP even state in their manual line out can go as low as 5k.
  3. 32 ohm load to measure a line out is totally flawed. Minimum 10k ohm is used.
  4. First use 1Vrms (example) and mark it as 0dB. Any variance in voltage during the frequency sweep, will give you the graph above.
  5. For your skin to feel it. You need a subwoofer...
  6. The grapf shows -3dB at 40Hz. At that frequency you would hear "RUMBLE". Which is less sensitive to the ear but our skin can feel the impact on it.
  7. I'm not quite sure as I spent most of my time in the local forums.
  8. Gary's amp is well received... Edit: I too find Xin.......
  9. Heki heki... Sometimes I also make mistake.
  10. Audiophiles come in 2 camps. Objective and subjective. Have fun reading... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audiophile
  11. Congrads Rancid. That's the best looking bend resistor I've seen so far. Edit: How 'bout a mint?
  12. It won't do much good. Most built in amp would corrupt the sound. There is benefit but very little. Yes, for power hungry cans. Depends on different cans, sometimes low impedence cans are power hungry and needs an amp.
  13. Via USB may also pose another problem. You got jitter, digital noise, EMI, voltage fluctuation and latency. The best is still CDP. Where it is built solely for music listening. Just like a camera will always takes good picture as compare to your camera phone.
  14. Every one make mistake. Even I, do it everyday. The more mistake you make the smarter you become.
  15. I know i know. Currently on Honey and Clover I anime. There is also manga version.
