  1. Did they change both or just one side? It's a little strange to get one side burned in and the other new.
  2. Done! I bought 3 set for the above forumer. Kindly check your PMs for details. =]
  3. I agree with you too. It's a time consuming process doing marketing analysis UNLESS the client did specify and of cse, pay for the findings. Sad to say but sometimes such research are pretty interesting. Packaging takes a more important stand in marketing analysis. I love it when we do the mocks and place it in real retail stores to monitor the reactions. Advertising? Well, it's all about numbers and percentages. It's easier to do a useless focus group with results that dun make sense, or flashy Creative Directors with glam ideas that are more scam than real. It's all about looking good and smooth talking AEs. Biggest flop ever was the Guinness Stout (Adam King) stunt. Wasted millions for nothing. Getting a little out of point here. I think your 10 years in the ad agency must sure make you tired of the whole process eh?
  4. av98m<<< Oops. I just happen to be not so much a StikFast Fan. I cannot justify that smallbox of plastic for $19.90 initially. Total ripoff I thought. But I though the idea to convince the plastic manufacturer to do toys was so timely neat. If you must ask, it was "hell" trying to piece up the "Xervos" series for the roadshow. I had not much problems with transforming 50 transformers but just this one Xervous made me sweat. Just ignore my opinion then. You a big fan of Stikfast? Vintage Starwars are pretty cheap here. I got lots for my friends back in singapore. I can recommend you some shops that sell pretty cheap jap toys if you happen to come down tokyo . Getter or mazinger are good buys. Macross is EX. And I'll love to see the pictures you took for the StikFast! Care to link?
  5. LOL. I get what you mean. It's sad to know that the higher percentage of the local market are based on practicality and function, and not so much of design and luxury. How many japanese cars can you spot in a day? But this is very contradictory to the ipod disease. Anyway, I do agree with you that online purchase is a more personal and offers you more choices. I will never want to wait for the local to bring them in. By that time, it's already so passe. Hasbro??=] I know those people. Perhaps they are too small an office to handle such things. They just bring in whatever the local department stores demand. I could go on with whatever goes on behind the company but that's just out of point. So, what toys are you into? Hasbro eh? Transformers? G.I.Joe? I hope not StikFast. Btw, MD is still so hot here in japan. They form the higher percentage of the CD, Cassette and MP3 players.
  6. Well, do you think it's worth bringing in the SA5000 if only 2 persons gonna buy it and 64 other will only fiddle with it? Sometimes I think the local sony doing the market analysis somewhat already knew ppl are not going to spend their singapore dollars on such items. And I don't think their focus group consists of even of one member in SGheadphones. How to convince them? Unless the Marketing director for sony is a head-fier and is a fanatic here in SGh. OR, we could keep spamming Sony with the same email Wil wrote? 1300++ members=1300++ emails. That'll surely provoke some response.
  7. I am so interested in the UE Pro's triple drivers. 2 lows and 1 high driver. I wonder how it compares to the Shure's Low Driver. The newer UE5Bs are so gimmicky. I am so not sure about those. I rather a Shure E1c anytime. But then, they are available at quite an affordable price now. I just might bite. But need more reviews. Gonna check out Head-Fi.
  8. Hahaha. Sorry I should really learn to read slower. LOL Well, here the list again: 1. Iriz 2. Arcos 3. AugustineRS
  9. That's not even a no. That's a "I don't know"...LOL I seriously doubt they'll bring in such a luxury class act into singapore. Market is simply not there.
  10. You want in? Or are you talking to augustine?
  11. Well, so it's cool then. Northern Oak, thanks so much for the info. Love to see your review too!! Can? Interested buyers, pls list your names. Hopefully this $50~ earphone can bring some happiness.
  12. YES YES YES!! Sometimes I ended up laughing, only to find myself, acting like a loonie on the train. Ramiesh<<<Have you heard the audio book? It's really quite enjoyable. Here's the link for the movie: http://hitchhikers.movies.go.com/
  13. Gosh, that UE 5EB looks so Shure E4c, or should I say, iPodish?? Last I'll see is senns coming out with a white plastic HD series. Will be looking forward to some Head-Fi reviews. Somewhat I am not so reactive to those ipodish styled stuffs nowdays. But am sure interested to hear UE's house sound.
  14. Takes time dude, time. It's all about seasoning. Remember when you had that Bata BM2000? Darn, I had to kick my school's dustbin everyday for 2 weeks before they wear good. It'll all come in nice when your ear gets used to them. I'll say about 3 days.
  15. Awesome Movie! The BBC audio was a super listen! I downloaded it all and boy, they made my subway travelling magical! Can't wait for the release! The trailer is SUPER COOL!
  16. Well, I'll get them if there is at least 4 person~ who's interested. You guys will save on shipping and also costs. I think it'll be ard S$50 odd if anyone's interested. Will go and chk the shops again.
  17. It does make a great difference when uped from the 4P. Let's me put it this way, 4(P)<___diff resistors____>(S). It's like a hardware EQ where you can tweak the sound of the ETYs manually. Go do it see what I mean. I basically have the 50, 60, 75. You can even go for a lower resistor. 50<. It's pretty fun if you must ask.
  18. Please do a short recommendation here if you can to justify if it's worth getting. Others will sure be interested to know. Thanks!
  19. Well, yes, it's excatly the same MD-33s(four pole) version. I was going to look for a conversion plug to accompany it too. Actually I only saw the hoo-haa while in Head-Fi regarding this earphone and I thought I'll help anyone interested in getting them from here. It'll definiitely be cheaper than the S%63 they quoted you. I am looking at S$50ish dollars. I didn't know it was a year old product. Those ppl in Head-Fi are always renewing old things eh? Btw, did you get the 4 to 3 pole converters in singapore and how much? Maybe the others want to know too. Best rgds,
  20. Fine with me. Probably his broadband connection I figure?
  21. Also try a 50 ohm and 60 ohm resistance for your (P). I kind like the 60 ohm + (P) sound. 3 weeks to reach you? What kind of online shop does that kinda shipping?? Usually it's about a week most dude.
  22. Well, this is a "hush hush" thing. Need some digging into the archieves. I think you can try your luck in the head-fi forum's classifieds section. There are a bunch of australians looking to selling stuffs and suchs. You'll never know when you'll pick up a good deal.
  23. This reminds me of an episode a while ago...someone offering to cut holes for XXX amount of money?
  24. Dude, which one of your DAP gets the lovely 3Ks?
