i think best is to bring your iRiver along when u audition the cans. then u will know a headphone amp is needed or not

that time i bought the ksc-55 for $45 but its price tag was $49

u can go take a listen to the em7 at hung brothers if u want. they may let u have a listen to it then u can decide if it's suitable for u

if u are not going to use the new can for portable use, then i will recommend HD 200, cost about $120 at hung brothers, 3rd storey SLS. take a listen to them at hung brothers and bring your own cds along

yes the koss is real value for money the sonys.......well...i own 1 and it suck
