Cardas IC is very warm sounding. And yes, the hiss is still there if you use it with the LDM+/Crossroads.

Depending on whether the offers out there are good, I might just want to keep it.

Personally, I find the LDM+ has lesser amount of "hiss" as compared to Crossroads and I tried it with UM2 and didn't really notice the "hiss", it's there but tolerable.

You may want to add a resistive load between the amp and the IEM. It helps.

ER4P is a very revealing IEM. You have to be sure that you like clinical sounding IEM before spending your dough on it.

I did a comparison today, and yes, LDM+ is brighter but gives more details. I don't think that I will require 2 amps at the moment.

I might have the Crossroads amp to let go, once I get my hands on the LDM+.

Personally, silver cables are really nice sounding with a Crossroads or even on a LDM+, so it really depends on the type of sound you are seeking.
