well install a selector switch then. about SQ, if u worry alot, then, make sure the wires are as short as possible from the inputs to the selector switch..

hi, i just got my Little Dot II and now got stuck with tubes. i read forums the II+ has arcing problem. not really sure the newer sets have this in them. the II and II++ dont have this prob. in terms of sound, hmm i cant comment coz i havent heard from other tubes. but for the price, to me II got it. now the bad part, the tubes for both LDII and LDII+ are rare here. LDII has the 4P1S and the 1B2 (or the 1K2 for newer sets); equivalents 4П1Л Russian tubes and 1S5 (or 1U5 for 1K2), cant find in Singapore. i have a pair of unused Mullards CV131 though (for LDII+). for 4P1S, dont bother trying to get the NOS 4П1Л for replacements. forums have ppl stating they are no different at all.

SLT has those sockets. just look out for fake gold plated ones. certain shops have them at 5 bucks each and others at just 1.50 each.. go arnd find which one you want. there are 2 shops in the basement selling only sockets and jacks...

just got a new toy its for my bedroom

i've already screwed in those silvers bare to the binding posts.. sounds real good.. didnt have much trouble with the cores fraying during the mounting process... now thats settled, the other problem is from my amp. it has this wierd cable locking mech. looks like the usual binds but they arent.. open when 12 o'clock n lock shut at 3 o'clock... cant find any pins or terminations for those yet in case i wana change to thicker silvers or anything... anyway thanks all ya... haha

hi all, i've just replaced my old OFC speaker cables with fresh new silver Qed cables... then something came to my mind; my speakers have binding posts. i can use bananas and the spades or bare wires? so, i think i need opinions. bananas, spades or just bare wires to hook up the speakers to the amp?
