  1. Tried ER4P or ER6i? They have the more traditional wiring.
  2. Usually vPost will take 2 weeks if you pay on time. Also, it's best to pay using credit card or paypal when using eBay. This will give you additional buyer protection on top of eBay's.
  3. SF3 pro does not sound good with pop/rnb IMO.
  4. Still for sale? I'm interested. Btw, how is the condition? Used before?
  5. If anything goes wrong, have to send back or US? Or we can RMA locally here?
  6. I have an extra UE metal casing. I can mail it to you if you want. The mailing fees on you of course.
  7. We'd be able to help you better if you let us know your budget.
  8. Use a earpiece with high impedance. Otherwise, buy a sound level attenuator.
  9. IMHO, burning in is overrated. The effects of a burn-in is likely too little to be really noticed.
  10. Does anyone knows if the sound level attenuator supplied with the super.fis is simply just a resistor? If so, does that mean it will increase the impedance of the earpiece and make it sound better with a good amp? P.S. Might be wrong forum, but i decide to ask here because i think the people here will know better.
  11. Didn't realise that until now. =X Thanks for heads up.
  12. Given their poor build quality, I'm not sure you'd want to give a Mylar3 as a present, It can leave a bad impression for whoever you are giving it to, esp when it breaks down.
  13. If you're interested in how the shuffle's amp performs against other big player, see this page

I was contemplating bringing a few in after what you said, but i'm not too sure if the demand is there.

If anyone starts a MO, i'll join in!
  16. Guess they aren't too popular.
  17. I'm sure FLAC will run on Mac, since Flac is open sourced. It plays great on my linux anyway, so i'm pretty sure it'll work on the mac too.
  18. As hwz's edmw-ers would say, you happy can riao.
  19. Point of A-Bing with reference speakers is not to see whether it is as good as the reference speaker, but to see the areas of tonal imbalance, and extent of the imbalance. The crossroads are way off in their frequency response, which is why i'm not surprised the company has not released a curve. It's okay to have some difference, but when it starts to sound like what it shouldn't, it's bad.
  20. You need a pair of headphones with higher impedance.
  21. It's not really bang for buck, if you consider the fact that it is a rebranded OEM product from OVC, a china manufacturer. In addition, the build quality is really poor, with numerous reports of housing breaking apart, getting electrical shocks and losing sound in the left ear piece. There is clearly a QC issue, and the fact that this problem is not corrected shows how much the manufacturer regards their customers. Furthermore, reference comparison of Mylarone will reveal all the flaws and tonal imbalance. It is clearly not intended for accurate sound reproduction. Do not take my words for gospel, go and get one pair and do A-B with reference monitor speakers.
  22. sh*t dude. Looks stunning.
