hav been listening to this setup for a few days now its definetly better with the old Philips drive, even with the new cable. i can still hear the noise but only at a higher volume setting also with the W1000 the noise is almost none, i think Mackie's suspision with the W1000's cable is true

anyone saw Headphonecrazy's signature? it has "L3000" in it

how abt sound wise? is it a big difference with the CMoy? cause i don't use high-end, high impedance cans when i'm outside, so do i really need an amp? right now my portable setup is this: MPio mp3 player Koss Plug /w ety sponge i used to hate Koss Plug, dump it the drawer for abt 3 months after buying it sounded like S**T then someone told me try it with the ety sponge, now i use it everyday, i had to turn off the bass on the mp3 player as it became too heavy with the sponge all that bass was making me dizzy so just wondering what the portable amp would do in my currently setup

the L3000 has the connolly leather as mentioned in the japanese site, i think these are the same leather used in Rolls Royce , Bentley & Jaguar cars suppose to be very distinguished stuff too bad we can't sit on the headphone as well
