Firefox 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2003 (edited) http://www.tangentsoft.net/audio/ppa/amp/p...uide.html#OPAMP I quote from the page: For the left and right channels, you can also use the OPA637; you shouldn't use this on the ground channel because it should be configured for unity gain, and the 637 isn't unity-gain stable. jtfoo 0 Report post Posted September 1, 2003 (edited) hey, how to get the PPA to accept AC power btw? Make a regulated power supply.... Headwize has many example fromt he headamp project. For AD8610, design a +-12V Edited September 1, 2003 by jtfoo
ablaze 0 Report post Posted September 1, 2003 is there any alteration to the PPA design? doesn't it accept DC by default? sorry if I sound confused
jtfoo 0 Report post Posted September 1, 2003 (edited) No need to alter the PPA design if you make a decent regulated DC power supply. You can try this from a Jan Mieier HA-1 project, but replace 7915 & 7815 with 7912 and 7812 instead for +-12V. For simplicity and scale down, you can omit the 100uH inductors and most of the 100nF caps. But those 100nF after the regulators might be helpful to have around.
