New Shure's E3c ?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, saw this thread on Head-Fi about a new earphone from Shure, the E3c. The new design looks much nicer compared to the older models. One of the forumer from Head-Fi mentioned that from the information he/she gathered, they were supposed to sound quite close to the E5c but cheaper and much better than the E2c and the Etymotic ER-6.

BTW here's the Head-Fi thread

the ex series has a wider diameter...this looks like they still use the normal sized shure drivers only the tips are different looking... i think that they are still canal phones... gd isolation is always a big plus

Eyewww.... yucky.gif what's on the tip?!

Since the design is such that the cable no longer goes over the ear would cable microphonics be an issue?

I am surprised the review is almost one-sided, in favour of the Shure's. Looking forward to more impressions.

He's making me think like I should quit considering Shure e1 and e2s and jump at the e3s immediately. But of course my wallet says no.
