red_ryder 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2004 (edited) Just watched the DVD for the animated film Sinbad. Saw the making-of documentary and Brad Pitt (who is doing the voice of Sinbad) was wearing a Beyer DT770 in the recording studio. The funny thing was, I was wearing the exact same cans while watching the movie! Edited April 3, 2004 by red_ryder
kiluon 0 Report post Posted April 12, 2004 I saw a pair of Beyer DT-770s while i was participating in a judo competition yesterday. There was this guy filming the bouts and the woman next to him was holding a microphone and wearing the Beyers. And at YCK mrt station today i saw someone with a pair of Grados but i couldn't get near enough to see the model.
lekguan 0 Report post Posted April 12, 2004 Pardon me for the OT but grados are getting quite commercialised as we can see the SR325 being reviewed in the CHIP magazine Singapore's March(IIRC) issue, encouraging gamers to get it.

N@Z 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2004 While listening to Ry Cooder & Manuel Galban Mambo Sinuedo CD (which incidently is a really cool CD has a chill out vibe to it) I caught these on the inner sleeve... The Drummer is Joachim (Ry Cooder's son) wearing Beyer DT100 whereas Ry Cooder is wearing the DT150! I'm gonna miss these babies, they're going to it's new owner next week. So having one last listen to them before packing them up. Kinda cool actually listening to the CD using the same cans the artist recorded it with. Some really amazing low bass resonances going on there from the drums.
Q00 0 Report post Posted May 27, 2004 I saw my 7506's being worn by Obie Trice...sum hiphop artist on mtv during his video dedicated to him mom. He was writing the lyrics down in his front porch of his home as he was listening to the cans.
peekarwe 0 Report post Posted May 27, 2004 Utada Hikaru with a Sony V6 .... The red tape at the side that is the brand and model label falls off easily, making the wohle headphone looks superbly 'bland'.
