Blacknight 0 Report post Posted June 11, 2003 What would be a good headphone for a budget approximately $150? Do I need a amplifier if my use for it is mainly for the PC? Please also indicate where I can get it.

Blues 0 Report post Posted June 11, 2003 blacknight, maybe up your budget a bit more.. to get grado sr-80 They are said to be better than sr-60 and regarded as one of the best value for money in headphone world. Having said that, it's an open headphone and may have some comfort issues They are great particularly for rock, but does well for pop too Yeah.. amp will improve any headphone.Cheapest is you can ask someone to build it for you, around 100-300 range, depending on the materials used.
