Kippei 0 Report post Posted January 10, 2006 240v side. Where ya put your fuse... I use a fused plug take out the 13A and put in the 0.2A in. You tried 2227? how does it compare with 2134
squalle 0 Report post Posted January 10, 2006 (edited) I did try 2227 instead of 2134 (or the equivalent 2132) like no difference. 2227 has slower slew rate, but the tube has even a slower slew rate. so yah, the change makes no difference 2227 and 2134 have the same max current output. I havent tried any op-amp with higher current capability yet as with my circuit they'll introduce higher dC offset (200mV if I put in 2227) so right now stick with 2132 in my slot first I'm thinking of something else now EDIT: my fuse is at the neutral side, just before the trafo ur way of doing is good. save the money buying that fuse holder haha Edited January 10, 2006 by squalle

squalle 0 Report post Posted January 10, 2006 hmm... my 2 units of SOHA not giving buzz or hum at all I think you've misread it and no, we cant use batteries or DC output wallwart for SOHA errm, need AC to get the voltage doubler working

Kippei 0 Report post Posted January 11, 2006 I got another idea for the dablok.. is to make it a seperate plug module, since almost every household item use a transformer. Whenever we need to use a specialised application. Just plug into that plug. But i got no idea how much current it can handle...
squalle 0 Report post Posted January 11, 2006 easy... how much are ur diodes rated for? that's the maximum continuous current handling
