Mackie 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2006 (edited) Well, who's to judge? Back in the early days when walkmen were meant to be slung over your shoulder (I believe a lot of you ain't from this era), I could only see eyes of envy. If I were to see a bus or train commuter using a pair of full size cans, I could only give him the thumbs up for being a music lover who does not care if he gets strange stares. Similarly, I wouldn't scorn on those who still wear stock ear buds and shiny ear clips and think they are hip. It's only a hobby with no benchmark nor borders to speak of. If there's indeed one, the chain may look as such: Owners of:- High end speakers system V Mid and budget end speakers system V High end desktop cans system V Mid and budget end desktop cans system V High end portable system V Budget and low end portable system V DAP V PCDP V Mobile phone DAP V Portable radio Edited October 9, 2006 by Mackie

Shiro MS08th 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2006 I never saw anyone using full size headphones yet though. The most is the portable AT ones, foldable kind, not sure the model. Currently, i'm using Grado SR80 or HD580 with PA2V2 on the go though, since I always bring a bag along.
aaron-xp 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2006 FC7s seem to be the most popular ATs around. Shiny cups, foldable (though not the "spectacles" fold), closed (though circumaural)... Really bassy (muddy) though...

nakedtoes 0 Report post Posted October 10, 2006 Most people wear e2c the wire they wear behind or infront? Sometimes I wear infront because behind too troublesome. yrs preference.. as longas it is comfortable to you and you enjoy the muisc on the go thats the most important thing.... normally they are design to wear from the back for performancers
aaron-xp 0 Report post Posted October 10, 2006 (edited) I believe putting it on from the back reduces microphonics. The wire also doesn't become as "obstructive" that way. Edited October 10, 2006 by aaron-xp
