Seem this time is for real. Not a single itch to upgrade anything. Just thinking of getting more CD. Maybe will try the WES or BHSE but that will only happen in the far future. Still very happy with just my 717.

Eh, haven't you heard/been reading the news?? 牛s nowadays don't drink water liao, too bland. They much prefer嫩草 (tender grass)

 

Sep90 : No urge to get the HE90 leh. Of course, not forgetting that I don't really have the means to afford it now If I get it, it would mean I'd have to sell almost everything else. Why stick to 1 when you can have variety? No 1 headphone sounds good with all music and moods.

 

Nonetheless, like Cal, am pretty happy with what I have (though I think I still have too many headphones; ideally I think I should really only retain 3). Anyways, this should be the last of any purchases for now, need to concentrate and setup my hifi which I've been putting off for at least a year now.

Cal : Wish there was a GES owner here in Singapore so that we can at least have a listen to the "Woo" sound, which would let us have an inkling of how a WES might sound. Nonetheless, I still feel that the WES is right up your alley and probably suit you better than the BHSE, with its tube coloration (warmer? more musical?) (seems to be repeating myself over and over).

you know i've always been very fond of particular brand.

got to make sure i can affort to get them before i go back to H-Fi,

otherwise better stick to headphones rig....
