Mackie 0 Report post Posted March 9, 2004 HPcrazy, how does it sound to U? I know it's early days yet but does it sound potentially good?
headphonecrazy 0 Report post Posted March 9, 2004 Partnered and tested it with the Musical Fidelity A3.2 + Van Den Hul ic + AT L3000, for a just out-of-the-box unit I must say that it kick some ass. Tonally if compared with the XP-7 it lacks a little "whack" on the low bass region but than again my XP-7 is also well burn-in. For less than S$200, I guess the "Original" master is a bargain, with external power supply n opamp "rollable". Burnin-in for the next five days, will post some impressions later. Rameish 0 Report post Posted March 9, 2004 hehehe, trust hc to come back with new toys. As always he's on the cutting edge of new toys for boys. Please do a review/preview or your opinion after 150 hours or so of burn-in.
Q00 0 Report post Posted March 9, 2004 Oh my!!.... Less than 200?? This could be a real bargain for those with less spending power. Op-amp "rollable" summore! Might need to do some reading up on the xp-7 since u use that as the comparison.... i cant wait! Its nice to know that there are alternatives for the budget hunters! yongchris 0 Report post Posted March 9, 2004 Finally, something I can afford.... guess my conversion to the headside is inevitable. Is there a webby for this brand that I can order from? Is there gonna be a powerbuy? I wonder if that shop in Bukit Timah will bring it in, should give them a ring. I think they bring in the CD player for this "Original" brand too.
