  1. There's no need to do that. There are people selling stocks smuggled out from that factory for around S$400...
  2. I saw those new Creative prices in the papers today. They seem kind of...desperate.
  3. I'm still in awe at the technology they've managed to cram inside the tiny earpiece...
  4. Care for it? I just clean my UM56's out once in awhile by soaking them in warm soapy water. Other than that, I don't really do much. I do live in a much drier climate, though.

    Westone ES2

How about the Worker's Party logo?
  6. I own both a PSP and a DS but I just find the DS much more enjoyable. The games on the PSP really need to improve. As for games, I go using the more devious method, a SuperCard SD.
  7. I think either the Aego-M's or the Klipsch will suit you best. As your said, nEar's are studio monitors and probably won't suit your tastes. You might also want to try out the Harmon/Kardon Soundsticks, they don't pack alot of punch but they have this very likable, warm sound signature.

Yeah, all Shure earphones with the exception of the E500 has the old style thick L plug. Maybe they've got to a point where the construction of the normal plug is strong enough to meet their standards.
  9. Eh, I almost always wear my Shure earphones(mainly E500) behind the back. Got used to it and never changed back as I find it more comfortable. If I want to store it, I just move the tube all the way to the drivers and wear it like a necklace. (Bling Bling
  10. Hush Puppies and Rockport are good and should fit within your budget. You might have to look a little hard for something to suit you though... Most dress shoes nowadays are "sleeker" as you described.
  11. My Total Bithead works just fine with the default drivers and I'm guessing most other USB DAC's should have no problem.
  12. Orders will normally arrive the same day if you order in the morning or the next day. If you want to customise it with an engraving(would be nice for your significat other It should take about 3 - 4 days from my personal experience.
  13. Many people, myself included, consider the Tri-Flanges to be the best tips overall. Of course, they are a little uncomfortable at first but the isolation and sound quality is second to none.
  14. Looks interesting... Good thing i live in China
  15. Looks like your only choice is to get it online. Headroom is selling them for US$50 IIRC. Its probably cheaper than buying when or if the distributors bring it in
  16. In terms of comfort its far far ahead of the other types of tips. Isolation is a little less than the Westone Complys and the Triflanges. As for sound, I'd say its on par with the Triflange as it manages to go the same depth without the tube bendling unnesscarily as it does with the tri-flange.
  17. I'd be interested in this too as I'm also using the UM56 with my E500s...
  18. Personally, I'm sure they're crap.
  19. Most simple hardware stores should have them...
  20. Why don't you just use a 220v to 110v transformer?
  21. I'm fed up with you and don't want to speak to you anymore.
  22. Customs don't always turn out great... I definitely get a better seal and sound with the tri or even the soft flex.
  23. YES YES YES YES YES YES YES I'm shipping it from Beijing.
