  8. Albinoni's Adagio in G Minor Beethoven's Symphony No. 7, second movement Allegretto, the first 3:18 mins I felt sad every time I listened to it. Although the marking of allegretto (translatable as "a little quickly") suggests Beethoven did not envisage it being played as slowly as comparable movements in his other symphonies, but this is still a little quicker than the usual slow movement marking of adagio (slowly). Chopin's Nocturne in F minor Op. 55 No. 1 Epitaph (Including March For No Reason And Tomorrow And Tomorrow) by King Crimson And these two Erhu perfomed by Min Huifen (闵惠芬): Moon's Reflection On ErQuan (二泉映月) River Water (江河水) YMMV
  9. I doubt there's EAC for Mac available, what I did was to use xACT to first extract the CD to WAV files (xACT has the closest that uses cdda2wav (paranoia support)), from the WAV files you can either convert it into FLAC or mp3 encoded by iTunes-LAME. If you don't mind other formats, can try encode it with AAC encoder in iTunes, AAC 224kbit/sec will be good enough and save you a lot of trouble, see this article comparing AAC and LAME encoded mp3, for you reading pleasure.

  11. i bought the Aego M for $369 inc. gst, at city electronics first floor SLS. I never heard of fx6021, but a friend of mine heard both fx6021 and aego m, she prefers the latter in terms of sound. See What Hi-Fi test result for several budget speakers: http://www.mylivy.net/livy/What_HiFi_Aego_M_Group_Test.jpg

  15. need some feedbacks from you guys. please post here your ISP here if you have no problem opening this post. obviously some members still have problem accessing sgH, which is directed to old board. For starhub, the following 2 DNS are ok. 202.156.1.58 202.156.1.48 Don't use 202.156.1.68, which has cached the old DNS pointing.
  16. noticed that one of the Starhub's DNS servers still have cached record pointing to the old IP. Not sure about Singnet or PacNet. hope it will resolve correctly soon...
  17. I believe ablaze has changed DNS for sgheadphones.net. Now sgheadphones.net is back online again! Any problems please report here.... thanks ablaze.
  18. err..... not a bug actually. it is a missing feature of Invision forum. Only the sub-forums are directed when selected. "Main" is a category. Anyway, since there is only one category, i set it direct to homepage.
  19. Around 8:50 12/4/06, the server is having problems loading the webpage. Currently in the process of talking to the host support.
  20. first thing, contact your current dns host to change domain name servers to ns141.hostgator.com ns142.hostgator.com or set the A record to 70.87.105.194 for the time being. ablaze, as for the domain name ownership, can transfer to someone you trust.
  21. guys, don't worry about the fund. lets enjoy surfing SGH... thanks ablaze for the hardwork.
  22. The forum has been setup. I'm waiting for ablaze to update the DNS. In the mean time, please access it at http://www.mylivy.net/sgheadphones/ tempororaly to avoid loosing any post. Please help me test it also. After the DNS fully propagated usually 1 or 2 days, http://www.sgheadphones.net/ will be back online.
