hi peekarwe, Instead of using a green marker, try out Sound Improvement Disc (a green CD overlay) from Soundscape, Adelphi. Albeit alot more ex than green marker, I did hear significant changes with and without the SID. Cheers!

I wasn't impressed with iRiver iMP-550's battery life. It's way too short!

Sony will cease the Sony Clie line worldwide, except in Japan and will be moving out of the PDA business.

Frankie has his mood swings, you know, like those once a month thing!

Just an update, I couldn't find any Panny CT810 around, except at Bluetin while the iRiver 550 retails for S$250+ at Jade Gift Shop. I ended up with NE-10 coupled with Panny HP-RJE50, which is pretty impressive!

hi Song of Songs, Do make sure that the Messiah 2 mod is the original Messiah 2 chip and not the Messiah 2 clone. Beware!

Agree with fuwen, the 501 aren't suitable for kurga's requirements.

Jason, Great work! -
Boxer, It would be nice if you could direct us to the SLS shop that you've mentioned. Thanks!

S$570 w/o contract at Mobile Square

IIRC, Sonic Stage 2 has done away with the check-in/check-out system for the songs stored on the PC. Thus with this change, transferring of songs becomes less of a hassle. However, Hi-MD players' battery consumption is rather high and battery life is short.

That's why I suggest checking with Gouki

Personally, I'm pretty happy with Min Hwa's service. (Bluetin Singapore's Staff). Friendly and helpful.
-
Bluetin's "regional HQ" is right here in Singapore and it's easy to meet up with the company staff to get the goods. That's why Cash On Delivery is available in Singapore.
-
taurian, Perhaps you may want to check out with Gouki. He's based in Tokyo and he's fine with arranging for MO. Check out the classifieds on the R10 and CD3K.

About the D-EJ2000, I've heard mixed reviews about it, with most saying that the NE10 is better than the 2000. I'm trying to find a shop that have the models available for testing. Mackie, Does Jade Gift Shop carries all the above?
-
If you don't mind adding another S$13, try out Sharp HP-MD33. I found it better than Sony's EX70 but I never had any Senns to compare with.
-
Thanks! I'm trying to choose between Panny Sl-CT810, Sony D-NE10 and iRiver iMP-550. I've read reviews from everywhere but all were non-conclusive but I've more or less taken iMP-550 out of my list due to the short battery life. I intend to use the player to play Red Book CD.
-
Anyone heard the iMP-550?
-
I've tested it at KEC Sound at Adelphi Level 1.

More than enough.

Updated! For those guys who have expressed interest earlier, do check your PM. Cheers!

Rameish, Spark Audio got back to me saying that it's okay to do so as long as the amp is not left without a load for too long. Sorry, forgot to update you about this cause I've been very busy recently.
