  1. R&D, design of the enclosures, precision engineering, etc, plus the cost of "limited edition"?
  2. Which picture is it? They are there....
  3. Not too sure.... SLS is not too far from orchard. Depending on which part of Orchard you are at, you can probably take bus 65 there. Bus services near SLS Hung Bros is at lv 3 near the escalator. Where else you can find this, I have no idea. teamdigital.net limited, expensive I guess... bluetin.com Actually, why not just any online store, regardless of where its based at?
  4. Actually there isn't much of a difference. The point is getting the best value for the money that you are paying. If it sounds better than the full sized ones, why go for the full sized ones? That's what I think, eventually the decision is still up to you. Cheers
  5. At this price, I would suggest you get Koss KSC-75 from Hung Bros, sls lv 3, be it portable usage or not.
  6. ditto (referring to blues' post) We kids nowadays Listen to lousy music
  7. Corrine May. Chyi Yu(her eng songs v good). Fish Leong.
  8. Really depends a lot on how much you are willing to spend. I'm not too sure what pairs better with the PX200, relative to others, but posting your budget will help others in helping u select.
  9. Happy bday! Wonder where he has gone for so long!
  10. Anyone has any idea where can I get the replacement pads for KSC-35. it seems to be starting to disintegrate. I should remove them ASAP.
  11. the PX200 appreciates the use of a portable amp verymuch. Also placement is especially critical for PX200. Instead of the usual placement, try displacing it forward and downward, with varying degrees and see if it does make a positive difference to the sound. Give it some 100 hours of usage/running in, before the sound reaches its full potential.
  12. I'm not too sure... You can call them up before going down. Do be patient with them though, sometimes they are a bit slow http://www.welect.com/

  14. Does anyone know the exact model of the dynaudio monitor speakers which we heard was at the end of the meet?
  15. gfgfmoses: was ur little dot II using stock tubes from China?
  16. Far from as huge/expensive as the previous meet. Wonder where all the gurus went.... Lots of portables. Mainly youngsters. Many headphones made appearance, including DT150, DT931, DT431, HD650, HD600, AKG K1000, K501, Sony 7506. Shop had DT860, 660. Some A-Ts appeared as well but i don't quite remember what models as the sound of A-T has never caught my attention. The only CDP which appeared was CD6000ose. Amps, mainly portables: Emmeline SR-71, Xin Supermacro, MINT. Tubes also appeared: Diva, Little Dot II, and the last one i cant remember what. Needless to say, the star was K1000, which, unfortunately, no amp could drive it to sound good except a professional amp in the shop, which didnt quite have enough power. The bass of this cans was v impactful when driven out CD6000ose headphones out.
  17. gfgfmoses: Please bring alont the little dot II Mackie: Will you be bringing beyer cans? Which ones? Will be going, will bring Beyer DT931, Koss KSC-35, rusty MINT amp, Sony D777. If possible will bring Marantz CD6000ose, together with a self-made 50cm pair of Belden 89259 2-cores twisted with Neutrik ProFi.
  18. Did you try new disc village at adelphi?
  19. Before it went down the search function went down first. For quite sometime already.
  20. I think the graininess has a very nice effect on the last 2 pics. You used B&W film?
  21. Does anyone has any idea if it is possible to find the gold plated version of Neutrik's 1/4" NP3C plug somewhere in Singapore? IIRC LHS doesn't carry it.
