If you have intend to buy timbuk2, macshop seemed to sell it at a cheaper price. I felt that those at bugis wont last, it also depends on amt/what(type) of stuffs you carry. For example, crumpler cost as much, but they do last so is timbuk2. I relatively new to chrome, but looking at the stitching and design, the build is quite solid too. Beach Rd might be another alternative, but i think they sell similar,if not same, stuffs as to bugis village.

I've only heard his pieces recently when i was in a lift(yes, in a lift) Is he classified under jazz? Can anyone reccomend similar pieces/songs to his. I only know who performed the song after a very nice expat in the lift informed me when i was asking aloud to a friend who the performer is in the song.

IMHO, boomy bass is not a characteristc of grados. I do find grado clear and bright. They arent my fave, but the sure rock when listen to rock music. Perhaps you should look at sony line, they always have deep bass(correct me if im wrong). Another un amped yet wonderful would be the Philips HP890, till now, i still used it for some easy listen. They seemed to perform well enough for all genre of music. YMMV

PCI slot u wont have that issue i guess. I tried mine with an onboard, so u can figure wat kind of noise goes into my ears. I think is called static noise(man, and im doing a course in engineering... )

I wont comment much on the quality of amp/unamp-ed Grados.each to his own 'ears' The biggest problem with listen straight out from a soundcard headphone out, esp on-board soundcard, tend to have alot of electric noise(?). The reason i use an amp,with the line out jack, is more of filtering out those noise.(Initially i thought it will amplified it, but it sort of 'clean' it up)YMMV

Not to thread jack, but there's this old(?) type of camera that have 4 lens/shutter and the photo that comes out contain 4 images on a single photo. I'm no shutterbug so i dont really know what terms to use, was hoping that i could find out its name and could get my hands on it, if any of you guys can fathom what i was trying to say/ask. The new MX line from Sennheiser I think it is just a 'facelift'. No 'hands-on' experience though The prices are MX550 - $37 MX450 - $25 MX350 - $14 courts/best/mustafa seemed to have similar prices These are in fact the same prices for same given model(ie mx500 -> mx550). Nice packaging though

actually it is totally different from the movie. the puppet master incident didnt happen in stand alone complex series and it suppose to happen in a alternate parallel future. It is much more on political plot rather than just computers becoming aware of their existence and the discovery of 'ghost; or the soul/self conscience/the voice withnin.
