OK ... there are few places you can find them ... but i recommend Sunshine plaza ... ... it call the "anime shop" (if i not wrong)... 1 DVD cost around .... $$25 .... if the anime happen to have more DVDs it will be cheaper .. but there someone in http://www.singaporeanimenews.net/ selling cheaper .. about $$15 per dvd !!! .... look under the trade section!! ok !! If you have friends in Hong Kong or going to Hong Kong they are much cheaper there. I paid Sing$10 for single an double DVDs, and about $40 for the multiple DVD sets(complete OVAs and TV series). They're exactly the same ones you see in local shops. Picture and sound quality is excellent.

 

Anime DVDs are horribly overpriced in Singapore.(just like almost everything else)

The place to go is Sino Center, Mongkok HK. Kids.......do stay away from the levels selling porn though.

Yes Sino Center Mongkok brings back memories. Used to be good place to buy those plastic action figures + second hand CDPs. About 90% porno disc shops now I reckon.

Also a good place but shops selling ringtone services and mobile phone/parts dominate now.

 

Shops on the first 3 levels of Sino Center sell cd/vcd/dvd and other hobby stuffs. The XXX begins on the 4th floor.

Oh yes, the last time I was at Sino, there were loads of *cough* Japanese AV DVDs. Did not dare to try bringing any through customs though. There were plenty of shops selling animation the last time I was in HK, and I was buying them left and right.

 

There were some very interesting local(HK) magazines introducing the *cough*, local "products", *cough*. The magazines were pretty light on content, but the attached CD-ROMs..ahh...different story altogether. Anyone here read "Ye Yiu Ren"
