Surprisingly, the hybrd is only more expensive than the pure-redbook version by a few dollars. unsure.gif

A-Mei "Best Hits-Vol 1"-Quite cool to listen to her in her primes. I especially like the ambience in her "live" version of Whats-Up-very happening party.gif

Paganini: After a Dream from Regina Carter.

This recording-which features Carter and her band of Werner "Vana" Gierig, piano, Chris Lightcap, bass, Alvester Garnett, drums, and Mayra Casales, percussion-is the culmination of a fairy tale: a once-in-a lifetime encounter between a jazz musician from Detroit and the most famous violin in classical music, Paganini's Guarneri.

I had quite a hard time finding this CD locally:

-Gramaphone tells me their last stock available was in 2003!

-NVD: Over the phone i requested for "Regina's Carter-Paganini". The reply was that Regina Carter is a double bassist while Paganini is a violinist (in essense he meant: boy, what are you talking about?!) lol. It was not until i told him the album name is After a Dream that he understood.

-Finally found the last copy of this album in HMV CityLink

Listening to Cai Qin's Folk Songs

My favourite is the 1st song 被遺忘的時, the one that was in the movie Infernal Affairs. Maybe because that's the reason why I bought the CD in the first place biggrin.gif
