wil 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2006 (edited) Yest i was on bus 151 ard 9+ to NUS. Mid way through the journey i saw this girl board the bus. ( was too stoned to notice what phones she was using ), but i think she saw my Shure E4c plugged in and actually smiled abit. Later, i looked in front of me......and took a second look as i noticed what looked like IEMs! Sure enough, those looked like the Shure E3c she was using. I was quite impressed. First time im actually seeing a gal wearing high quality phones. Wanted to chat her up but too bad i had to alight first. there is hope afterall! a few days back i saw a nice angmor student in NUS wearing Grado SR60s ( but abit crazy la, open phones leh.....) Second would be those Creative (not too bad though) or Sony. Next, you'll see the street phones/clipon-phones. Finally, the lower end IEMs like cheaper audio technicas and sennheisers. The 1% will be Shure, Etymotic Research. 0.1% will be those Grados and Bose systems. the 0.01% will be the UE and Westone systems (being relatively new in Singapore) The 0.00000000000000000001% will be the Stax systems.
