  1. Ahh... the 'B1' integrated amp. The only other amp I liked besided the venerable Cyrus 1/2 (which also had a decent headphone out). Quite reliable this one compared with the A series which did tended to burn out with age.
  2. Happy Birthday! So... buying new photo or audio kit?
  3. Should you try the Senn HD414 earpad mod, instead of straight away cutting out the hole try replacing the earpads 1st & then listen to it.
  4. This is covered in the forum's FAQ Forum: http://www.sgheadphones.net/index.php?showtopic=2415 It describes hot to do the simple mod, where to get them from & even how to change the colour of the bright yellow earpads!
  5. Stereo_Electronics, you can create a seperate post for the comprehensive price list in the Classified forum & the moderators will make it into a 'sticky' thread. That will save you having to PM every individual for pricing.
  6. I concur with av98m, I also go to Paris Miki whenever I can. Although I haven't made any frameless ones from them I do own 3 pairs of frameless spectacles at the moment. None of them has ever broke or had any major scratches on them. Considering that I even sometimes lie down on while wearing them. Besides the relative fragility (depending on the individual) the other thing to look out for is the part of the frame that holds on to the glass/plastic. Some designs are better than others at securing the frame on to the glass/plastic. One of my frameless spectacles is a cheapo unbranded one intentionally bought for home use. It was false economy, it tended to loosen itself over time which was annoying to tighten every so often. I ended up just giving up (put it in the car for backup/emergency pair) & getting a Levis brand (around $100) which had a screwless attachment & that has been going strong for almost a year now. Extremely light & flexible too.
  7. I noticed you used PS CS2, what workflow process do you normally use for your images?
  8. No contest lah bpribadi, you got sifu skill!
  9. Nice! You really have to break out the Tripod & DSLR to really do that view more justice
  10. Someone said it aptly in the thread, "Let the insanity begin".
  11. All I have to say is Buena Vista Social Club Try it, you'll like it.
  12. That sounds brilliant especially night time. Any chance of posting a shot of your 'view'? Would love to see it. It reminds me of my (Speaker listening) environment while still studying in Glasgow. My unit was on the top floor of a flat midway on top of a hill. The view I had was facing the, motorway, Scottish COnvention Center & disused shipyard of the River Clyde in the distance. I couldn't see the river physically but at night the lights in the distance outlining the terran is captivating & I always stand/sit infront of the window while being 'transported' by the music of Deacon Blue, Hue & Cry & The Blue Nile. Bands from Glasgow which epitomise the weather & City strongly. My listening environment nowadays is not as impressive. It involves just complete blackness as I usually listen in bed with my eyes closed before going to sleep. However the beauty is your mind can actually conjure up fascinating images based on the type of music you hear.
  13. Thanks. You oversatruated the colour too much compared to the actual flower is very pale like the original image posted. The image was only cropped, resized & added a little USM. Just to give you an idea, below is another one with a different colour, taken at the same time, same PS treatment. Both images were taken using the Nikkor 17-55mm f/2.8.
  14. Stick a handphone & a megapixel digicam capability in it & I'll buy it!
  15. It was a crawl I tells yah! Moving on... (changing the subject!)
  16. I don't condone it but in my defence we were literally moving at crawling pace & the car I was comandeering had an automatic transmission.
  17. One thing to remember which ablaze has quite rightly pointed out is the ability for someone to spend alot of time on the site. It's not just setting it up, it requires running and maintaining it fairly regularly. We have been quite lucky so far. What Q00 meant I believe is that the forum is running ok on average, unless there is a major problem or a major overhaul is required to address as specific inadequacy then change for the sake of change seems unecessary at this point in time. Ahem! I'm still on PIII & WIN2K!
  18. Many Happy Returns! Go on... get yourself something!
  19. I'll have one each of these 'Nikon accessories' please. Sorry no closeups Blues, took some shots just to record the event only, they all looked the same to me! Hehehe lazy photographer. That shot was taken around after 9am. The bright sun was covered by an isolated cloud to the right hence I got a decent capture. I took this shot below while participating in the convoy. Very blueish green hue because of the tinted windows & mirror.
  20. Taken early last month. VW Beetle event.
  21. 10-20mm! Defenitely for the Home & Living magazine! Hehehe. The Nikkor 17-55mm f/2.8 is enough for me & one to tick off from my list to get then I'm all set for lenses.
  22. Nice blues, landscapes & architecture is defenitely your forte.
  23. Three cheers for Doc 'blaze!!! I like to move it move it... She likes to move it move it... He likes to move it move it... We like to... MOVE IT!!!
