Yes they are detachable from the headband and like all other electrostatics they are open.

This is my spare headset that is 99.9% new. Consist of the S-001MK2 (Earspeakers) and SRM-001 (Amp Driver Unit Part). Low usage and would like to like to let it go. Please send me any reasonable offer.
