  8. Yes. Complys are those found on the UM1 like this The custom IEM from Westone is the Elite series that provide an exact fit to your ear which need your ears impressions to be made in order to build your custom monitors.

  13. Not the best choice for listening to recorded music.
  14. I prefer Apple Lossless to rip CD songs. It takes 25 to 35MB per song.
  15. Sad to hear that your UM1 left side is not working. Stereo Eletronics sell around $180 if i'm not wrong. Why not go and upgrade your earphones?
  16. I suggest that you may visit Stereo Electronics ( Woodlands Square Causeway Point, #04-08/09/10 Tel:68943601 ) for testing these earphones. Their staffs are pleased to serve you. They also provide various fit kits to suit your needs. A good seal is VERY IMPORTANT for in-ear earphones. You will lose bass response and the sound will tend to be over bright without a good seal. There are no magic directions because everybody’s ear canal size and shape are different. If you push it in too far, you may block the tiny opening of the ear tip. You need to be patient to determine the best way to adjust them to your own unique anatomy. The best way to determine which earphones suit you better is experience yourself than listening advice from others. You know what you need and your ears never lie you. Trust you ears.
