Blues 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2003 Tampines I was aiming to get into Temasek. I've asked around and with my L1R5 they said it shouldn't be a problem. Maybe this year alot of demand .. sigh.. Wanted to appeal but then I am not in Singapore. It sucks..

Mackie 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2003 Ah...the pressure in present society. I remembered having skipped the choice to study in JC after my prelims to work in Phoenix Hotel as a waiter instead.
kenshinz 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2003 (edited) Same here Mackie (thot I didn't work as a waiter), it was more fun, and I definately learnt more things during the few months at work than at school. Edited December 18, 2003 by kenshinz

kenshinz 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2003 Small piece of disclaimer (to Blues especially), reason why I didn't go for JC 1st 3 months is because I already had my mind set on Poly (can't stand JC education system - not my cup of tea). To those who are thinking of attending JC, my advice would be to go for the 1st 3 months, as it would help you settle down during the lull periods, and kick off on a rolling start when the actual workloads starts piling up.
