See , zotl -> cd3k/ akg k1000 zotl is good with cd3k and should have enough power to feed k1000 what do you think? can have the best of both worl? (open/closed) ? N@Z 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2003 K1000 for etys + $100 top up is a fantastic swap! As long as in good condition! But note that the bass is not as 'visceral' as the CD3K although it's more than the ER4S. Perhaps get a cheap but good integrated stereo amp to drive the 1000s....another step closer to having a speakers setup.
