Firefox 0 Report post Posted February 7, 2004 Firefox, that album you posted, are the songs different from the other BVSC catalog? Well, the recordings are different because they're recorded in another studio, not those under World Circuit. The recording is actually much softer so you could crank up the volume control more. Bring it closer to 12 o'clock. =) Note that it's the last piece that I snagged from a local Sembawang Music outlet. Can't guarantee that you could get it elsewhere here. Firefox 0 Report post Posted February 7, 2004 It's at Rameish's place and he's only got a iBook & no nice lil' Mitsui Gold media (IMO, the best of the lot together with Kodak Ultima Gold).
N@Z 0 Report post Posted February 7, 2004 Rough harvest - John Mellencamp (HDCD) image courtesy of amazon.com This album came about like a similar story to SMcL's Freedom sessions. It has that raw & unprocessed sound/feel to it. Enjoyable folk rock music and a nice recording to boot.

cmk 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2004 Bach's Goldberg Variations. Very emotionally charged performance. I heard this the first time when another audiophile visited and since have been hooked. Even for those of you who do not really know much about classical music, even if you play this in the background, your family and friends will look up and ask about it. cmk 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2004 Very well recorded performance of this favourite classical piece on period instruments. You can hear the body of the instruments as the bow is drawn. Includes 2 other concertos. I got the SACD hybrid version.
