Creative is having the Aurvana up for auditions against e3c and (what I assume is) UM1, at their PC Show booth. The source is hidden though, and you can't plug your own in.

it E2.. i only try the e3 and aurvana... 1st impression is aurvana is very comfy... but no chance to test on own source so cant comment the sound...

From what I gather though... E3 is crap. Thin bass and no highs o.O

 

But if can try E3 on PC fair too, that'd be nice

 

Can see how much a difference the E3 and E4 is and check if what head-fi said is true, then urge my overseas friend to upgrade to E4 or E500 XD

No la. E3 is not really crap but at its price, quite near. lol. Bass is thin and treble is recess compared to its prominant midrange. E4 fixed its treble and bass to most ppl. Some still find the E4 thin. So its the ear of the beholder.

E4 any day of the week. I got to live with it for a couple of weeks some time last year. Not sure which issue.
