Hi there, Welcome to Sghead!!!, I would suggest u to try the MS-1 at jaben if you are using it in your house. The UM1 is more for outdoor use as all other iems so my recommendation to u: Ms-1! Also all Grado headphone's have gd quality so I would not worry abt whether its easy to break or not. let your ears be the judge. U can drop by Jaben to audition it yourself and Uncle Wilson there's gonna give u a good price.

Hi there, My recommendation to you is the UM1 however if you're in doubt, head down tio Jaben and audition both ER6i and UM1. Let your ear be the judge, I tried both and I find it very obvious which sounds better... Anyway happy listening and welcome to SgHead!!

Wasn't the 'san' term used to address people of ages older irregardless of male or female as a symbol of respect? I dunno Animes do use the terms 'san' on females like 'Mitsuki-san' or 'Cagalli-san/sama'. Hi there, In Japanese, normally 'San' is a honorific term used for both sexes however for young ladies normally before childbirth, 'chan' would be used. 'chan' is also used in children regardless of sex. In this case, yotiao-chan. 'San' would normally be used on older women. I'm not some expert but this is what I know. Hehe

Further to add on: Also long time back, I had this red Sony walkman with Auto reverse, at that time its very ex. The walkman came with the metallic earphones which looks like a hair clip. hehe... Went to Jaben to audition it, i must say it was quite a stunner. The speaker's not not really big but the sound is very clear and detailed. I'm impressed. Come and listen it to it and try.

I'm using Ipod 10 GB with Westone UM1 with 45% on volume and bass or acoustic EQ. Not too loud for me..

Afbug, I went to Jaben to try both Er6i and UM1, I choose the latter because the sound is not as detailed as UM1 and the price is also in my favor. Uncle Wilson also say I have to hear it to believe it and I did. The sound is crisp especially for vocals.
