Hi for those who thinking getting Dared MP5 for Headphone make sure you have some sort of line attenuator for line in. As the Dared MP5 have a very high gain. Even the AKG 340 still loud. For speakers is ok...

It difference from the others Grado range. For whose heavy metal gene, you got to have a very good HP amp to control the “Bass” of the GS1k or else it very fuzz...

"such simple circuit.." Yes it simple once someone put it together the circuit but to come out the simple circuit it take many sun and moon.

If you want to use the DAC headphone out, I advice you to get the Grace 902m it much better than the Benchmark DAC. If you going to use only the DAC out to the speakers system than the Benchmark is ok. I had the Benchmark DAC - Balance out (XLRs) to the HD650 and preferred the GW 2.6F (Philip Miniwatt A frame ECC88 tubes) with the HD650 much better SQ.
