red_ryder 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2004 Thanks, I realise that the T610 is probably the best option, but just wanted to see what other contenders there are, hence my post. T630 out of budget, sigh...
augustineRS 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2004 There are alot of contenders, but since i made the crossing from nokia to SE, I've never look back. Only drawback, SE doesn't support Windows enuff. I've read abt alot of software support for Mac, esp using the bluetooth. I guess there be lots of suggestion. T610 going at a pretty good price now.Esp with the sale over the weekend

N@Z 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2004 Anyone got the Nokia 6230 yet (ablaze)? Saw a friend's phone. Very impressively built for a Nokia. Very solid feel. I think this will be a very popular phone with the Nokia ppl as it has the same fun factor like the venerable 8210/8250 series. Specifications Nokia's downloadable game 'mosquito' is highly addictive!

N@Z 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2004 A little more than that, besides the higher screen resolution (65K colour TFT as opposed to 4K), different battery, Bluetooth connectivity, music player (mp3/AAC files) & slot for MultiMediaCard.

I think this will be a very popular phone with the Nokia ppl as it has the same fun factor like the venerable 8210/8250 series. Specifications Nokia's downloadable game 'mosquito' is highly addictive! yes I got it! eager-beaver-me got it before it was officially launched here in sg! I love this phone. pretty tft screen. mp3 player (and the sound produced is arguably better than my ipaq!) mmc expandability, mp3 ringtones (to hell with polyphonic ringtones ) bluetooth..and its blisteringly fast. (I'm guessing its cos of the mp3 player, hence the processors in the phone have to be faster, hence when the mp3 player isn't in use, everything else is just bliiiiisssteringly fast!) some gripes though: no brightness/contrast settings for the screen. photos taken have this blue-ish/grey-ish tinge. I'm hoping a firmware update'll fix it. overall..this has got to be my favourite phone EVER.
