yes I got it! eager-beaver-me got it before it was officially launched here in sg! happy.gif

I love this phone. pretty tft screen. mp3 player (and the sound produced is arguably better than my ipaq!) mmc expandability, mp3 ringtones (to hell with polyphonic ringtones tongue.gif) bluetooth..and its blisteringly fast. (I'm guessing its cos of the mp3 player, hence the processors in the phone have to be faster, hence when the mp3 player isn't in use, everything else is just bliiiiisssteringly fast!)

some gripes though:

no brightness/contrast settings for the screen.

photos taken have this blue-ish/grey-ish tinge. I'm hoping a firmware update'll fix it.

overall..this has got to be my favourite phone EVER. party.gif

Hey man, good to 'see' you. Is the black (? dark coloured) casing version available in SG?

A little google search for "mp3 wav to midi converter" yielded:

You know what I'd really like to see these mobile phone manufacturers come up with... multiple active lines. Instead of a single SIM card, you can have 2 active SIM cards operating at the same time. Not like the present 3rd party ones which requires you to physically toggle(switching on & off) between cards. It would be nice not to have to carry 2 phones around all the time, one for work & the other your personal line. Surely it must be possible since they are able to cram in an autofocus lens with megapixel resolution photo.gif , all manner of connectivity, broadband etc. phone.gif

Hmm anyone got the Samsung E-100A ?? Seems like quite a decent phone, but dun see much telco selling, so far only StarHub and M1, and its like they're not pushing it much as compared to the other relatively similar but less features model the X430. Felt like getting it as my trusty 8310 is starting to get abit cranky recently. Its quite cheap too, $38 with trade in & 2 years contract with StarHub.

BTW to all the StarHub users out there, how is the reception of StarHub lines now ? Is it still as bad or have they improved, particuarly around NUS area.

Finally, they've introduced an auto opening & closing flip type phone in the form of the Samsung SGH-P510. Doesn't look anything much different from the usual Samsung fare except for the external 65K colour screen. Still no bluetooth though.

Watch it (flip) in action.
