Blues 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2005 Dry cabinet - try digi-cabi. Currently using the 30L - sufficient for my need. Heck I am even sharing it with my housemate's EOS300D(body+kit only though).

tropicalrips 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2005 (edited) Ahh.. nice new lens tropical ... how big did it burn a hole in ur pocket?  $410 for the Sigma 28mm f1.8 my original budget is almost gone now its a big lens also a lot heavier then the kit lens, now i need one of those paded camera straps cause my shoulder hurts from carrying the D70 with the Sigma lens i think this is a good lens for street shooting, but i'll still bring along the 50mm cause its so small and lite the shots of the Bugis market and street performers were taken with the Sigma, ISO400 f-1.8 M-mode. one last pic from my MRT collection Edited March 11, 2005 by tropicalrips
Blues 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2005 (edited) Today I went down with N3w and his friend to see the cosplay - Fatal frame... I have to admit the models are quite photogenic.. compared to the usual cosplay standard Comments welcome Edited March 13, 2005 by Blues
tropicalrips 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2005 i like the first pic and the colors of the second pic what were they actually doing?...what is cosplay?
Blues 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2005 err.. something like dressing up as your favourite character. It's very popular in Japan and some other parts of the world as well. In SG there is cosplay club too I think.
Q00 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2005 I think the first one is technically there... but seems to lack sumthing i guess? Second one is my fav of the three, the colours just pop out. Just works for me great job! Third pic, i think the person in the middle kinda spoils the pic. if it were just the two, would have made for an interesting contrast shot.. black/white outfit kinda thing... tropicalrips 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2005 (edited) some new additions for the D70 I-cabi 30 litre dry box Nikon shooting vest FOC from the shop the vest looks very cool, has lots of pockets both inside & outside to put stuff they also recomand me the next lens to make the D70 family more complete the new Tamron 200-500mm f/5-6.3 zoom lens with IF its about the size of a midsize tripod...N@Z is this gun big enough? price...enough for another D70 kit around $1600++ Edited March 14, 2005 by tropicalrips
Blues 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2005 the black colour is nice.. but prefer canon's grey vest - easier to go with the clothes and don't have the 'hole shape'
tropicalrips 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2005 do any of u guys actually use a camera vest when shooting? i don't like to carry a bag around, so a vest may be a better solution. the Nikon vest may attrach too much "attention" should look for something without logos of the major camera brand
