Har har har! Classic tunes in a tongue in cheek way!

 

I used to lover her,

but I had to kill her...

 

yada yada.

 

If you played guitar in the late 80's, it was a must to be able to strum & pluck to the tunes on LIES. This was close to an unplugged sort of album prior to the unplugged theme being born.

do you know that the final album of smashing pumpkins is not Machina/Machines of God? the final one is Machina II/Friends and Enemies of Modern Music.

Blur - 13, limited edition box.

 

The album is not as well recorded as I expected now that I've listened to it using the DT250 & DT880. However the acoustic tracks like Tender & Mellow Song sounds particularly good.
