Hey Blues Guy, well in those days punk is like an indegenous sect, local to a mass of land now called Europe. To be honest I can't keep up with all the altercations of genre that is the music industry now. Blink182 and maybe Sugar Ray will be an evolution of the Punk rock bands of yesteryears, maybe/maybe not, I don't know. Just my thoughts! Cheers!!

Mods, the double post ain't my fault, ok? Thanks

Reminising with my tape collection. This compilation was made in 1989. By then it was already called Evergreen. Blues, I think you will enjoy the lovey-dovey tunes! tongue.gif

The Splendour of Al-Andalus by Calamus

Stereophile Magazine 'Record to Die For', May 1995.

This CD is a collection of 12th to the 15th century Arab-Andalusian pieces performed by members of the Paniagua family of Madrid, Spain.

Andalusian music developed from the mid-7th through the end of the 15th century in the southern area of Spain controlled by Muslims who originally came from North Africa and as far away as Iraq.

The very melodic, very rhythmic and very beautiful music are recorded in a centuries old cathedral at La Monasterio de la Santa Espina, Valladolid, Spain, and btw the wify and myself love to belly-dance to it.

I think Barradio bought it at the recent HiFi Show. The label is ma recordings and it was demoed with some Stax's and wadia equipment during the show. Fantastic music, superior engineering.

I think you can order online. biggrin.gif
