But for me I would imagine it as a trade off to a good sounding, neutral, balanced headphone no bull Value for Money (even if it is overrated). IMVHO! So can you help me get one? Firefox 0 Report post Posted August 17, 2003 Hmmm, so the HP-1 and the HP-2 are similar sonically? Assuming the switches don't degrade the sound significantly (audibly), they would sound the same. RawHit 0 Report post Posted August 18, 2003 I guess HP2 will be better because no phase switches means lesser chance of your cans malfunctioning But if the phase switches have been made with the same quality as the other parts of HP1 then I wouldn't worry too much.
